The Fishing School and School Holiday Fishing:
These coaching options arei Wales suitable for all abilities and is specifically designed to instruct and teach under 18 year olds how to fish correctly.
The Fishing School is available every Saturday throughout the year from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM, (subject to weather conditions).
School Holiday Fishing is available every day of the School Holidays that frequently occur during the course of the year. From 8.00 AM To 6:30 pm ( subject to weather conditions.)
Both these Coaching Opportunities can be either delivered as one-to-one coaching or as a Group coaching experience for up to a maximum of eight individual Per session or day.
Fishing tackle, etc., can be provided for their use, or the young person or persons are welcome to use their own fishing equipment if they wish to do so.
Advanced booking is highly recommended and is based on a first-come, first-served basis.
Under 12’s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who will supervise them at all times.
This requirement is due to our insurance policy.
A rod licence is also required.
The Coaching Curriculum:
They Will Learn all about and obtain these essential fishing skills.
1: How to set up and use a Fishing Rod or Fishing Pole.
2: How to cast Properly.
3: How to play a fish.
4: How to unhook the Fish.
5: How handle the fish correctly, carefully in a safe manner, for the protection of the fish.
6: They will be shown what types of floats, tackle and baits.
Which they can use to fish with, when they next go fishing.
7: They will also learn about Watercraft. “Probably the most important skill too require “
8: They will learn about the different types of fish.That live within the waters of the UK.
9: Plus They will receive lots of other useful information.
Such as bait, rig making Etc etc.
The Fishing School and School Holiday Fishing is presented on such a way.
It allows for the Young Person to progress, by working towards obtaining various Angling Awards.
Such as the Cast Award Scheme and
Let’s Get Fishing Awards.

3: Mental Health.
4: Social Skills.
Plus The Fresh Air and being Outdoors is apparently Good for them and for You.
Fishing Enhancements:
This coaching option has been designed to assist you. (You are welcome to use your own equipment if you prefer.)
It is suitable for people of all ages and abilities.
The main purpose of this coaching option is to help you achieve some, if not all, of the following objectives:
1. Improve your overall fishing ability.
2. Add one or two additional methods to your fishing repertoire.
I will help you fine-tune methods you might not fully understand, such as:
- Silverfish fishing
- Shallow fishing
- Waggler fishing
- Pole fishing
You may also want to learn how to get the best out of your swim, and more. This includes the Coaching Curriculum used in the Fishing School if needed.
The Mission or Aim of all these coaching options is to provide you with the fundamentals and skills necessary to answer the question:
